About that...well, Heropa was quiet for the most part, but I was kinda busy. [Watching movies with Hime, getting a free milkshake off John, and basically doing things that have nothing to do with the plot AT ALL.]

[So, Heropa was quiet, but what about the rest of the world? Is she hiding something? Edgeworth frowns, but decides not to press her. He'll get the information he needs from the news and the network, and, if needed, he'll press her later]

I see. Speaking of...

[He clears his throat, straightening up]

...thank you. For the apartment, I mean.

Huh? Oh, you mean making off with your perishables? You can send me the bill.

Uh...no? [She sounds very certain, bordering on sarcastic.] Why would I?

Whoever they are, they didn't leave any clues! And actually I didn't really poke around that much.

Or they came in after you did. But I'll worry about that later - there's something else I want to discuss with you, first.

I don't need to tell you how dangerous this place can be, Kay. It's chaotic, unpredictable, and when bad fortune befalls someone, we often don't find out until it's too late.

[yatagarasu]

Yeah, I kinda picked up on that already...a lot of people have.

[takethestairs]

Well...perhaps it might be in our best interests to stick closer together in the future. There's safety in numbers, as they say, and it will give us both one less thing to worry about during the next crisis we face.

[Not if they're in danger, when.]

You got a point, but we're not always together. We live in different parts of Heropa, I have school and Teen Court, and you have work...then again, it's summer so I have more time to be your assistant...

I don't exactly need an assistant, Kay. Besides, I was thinking about sticking together outside of work.

[yatagarasu]

You mean we gotta find each other right away whenever something goes down?

[takethestairs]

That's one thing we can do. [And one thing they probably should do, come to think of it] But I was thinking of something a little more consistent.
